We Were There Series

This is a lively, entertaining series of historical fiction! I read one of these books as a six year old and have never forgotten the excitement of lining up for the Oklahoma Land Run!

We Were There with Lincoln in the White House is rare in this series. I did not enjoy and do not recommend this particular title. The narrator is far too approving of unethical behavior by the child characters. I would suggest getting a copy from inter-library loan and reading it before paying a high price for a copy online.
